Lionel Messi has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain on a two-year deal, the club announced on Tuesday. The 34-year-old Argentinian forward leaves Barcelona after 21 years, during which he won 10 La Liga titles, 4 Champions League titles, and 7 Ballon d'Or awards.
Messi's arrival at PSG is a major coup for the club, which is looking to win its first Champions League title. He will join a star-studded attacking lineup that includes Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Angel Di Maria.
Messi is expected to make his PSG debut on August 12 against Troyes in Ligue 1.
