Australian Olympic boxer Harry Garside will make his professional debut on June 17 in Melbourne.
Garside, who won bronze at the Tokyo Games last year, will face New Zealander Hugo Thys in a six-round lightweight bout at the Melbourne Pavilion.
The 25-year-old Garside is a former Australian amateur champion and is considered one of the most exciting prospects in Australian boxing.
He is trained by former world champion Jeff Fenech and is managed by Dean Lonergan.
Garside's professional debut is expected to be a sell-out event.
