Chris Hemsworth is set to star in a new action thriller from director Sam Hargrave. The film, which is currently untitled, will also star Ranveer Singh, Golshifteh Farahani, and David Harbour. Hemsworth will play Tyler Rake, a black market mercenary who is hired to rescue a kidnapped boy from a dangerous drug cartel. The film is said to be a "high-octane, visceral thriller" that will test Rake's limits as a mercenary. Hargrave, who directed the Netflix film Extraction, is also producing the film alongside Hemsworth and Joe Roth. The film is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to begin filming in early 2023.
