Los Angeles FC Falls to Club León in Concacaf Champions League | #LAFC #CONCACAF #ClubLeón #MLS #Football

Los Angeles FC fell to Club León 2-1 in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal on Wednesday night. The Mexican side took a 2-0 lead into halftime thanks to goals from Víctor Dávila and Jean Meneses, and LAFC was unable to find an equalizer in the second half.

The second leg of the quarterfinal will be played on Tuesday, June 5 at Banc of California Stadium. LAFC will need to win by two goals to advance to the semifinals, or by one goal if they score more goals than Club León.

The loss was a disappointing one for LAFC, who had been unbeaten in their previous 10 games in all competitions. However, the team will still be confident of advancing to the semifinals, as they have a strong home record and a potent attack led by Carlos Vela and Diego Rossi.

LAFC will be looking to bounce back from their loss when they face the Portland Timbers on Saturday night in MLS play. The team will need to be at their best if they want to get back to winning ways and keep their hopes of winning the treble alive.
