Le'Veon Bell Retires from NFL | #NFL #LeVeonBell #Retirement

Le'Veon Bell, the former Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets running back, has announced his retirement from the NFL. Bell, 31, made the announcement on social media on Wednesday.

"I've decided to retire from the NFL," Bell wrote. "Thank you to all the teams that gave me an opportunity to play the game I love. Thank you to all the fans who supported me throughout my career. And thank you to my family and friends for always being there for me. It's been a great ride, but it's time for me to move on."

Bell was drafted by the Steelers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He quickly became one of the league's most productive running backs, rushing for over 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons. In 2014, Bell was named to his first Pro Bowl and was named First-Team All-Pro.

After the 2017 season, Bell held out of training camp in a contract dispute with the Steelers. He eventually signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract with the Jets in 2018. However, Bell's time in New York was not as successful as his time in Pittsburgh. He rushed for just 789 yards in two seasons with the Jets.

Bell was released by the Jets in 2020 and signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in just eight games with the Chiefs, rushing for 291 yards. He was released by the Chiefs in 2021 and signed with the Baltimore Ravens. He played in just one game with the Ravens, rushing for 10 yards.

Bell finishes his NFL career with 8,629 rushing yards and 49 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 492 passes for 3,552 yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.

Bell's retirement is a major loss for the NFL. He was one of the most talented running backs in the league and was a major force on the field. He will be missed by fans and players alike.
