In a thrilling main event at UFC 275, Brandon Moreno retained his UFC Flyweight Championship with a split decision win over Kai Kara-France.

The fight was a back-and-forth affair, with both fighters landing significant strikes. Moreno was the more active fighter in the early rounds, but Kara-France came on strong in the later rounds.

In the end, the judges scored the fight 48-47, 47-48, and 49-46 in favor of Moreno.

With the win, Moreno improves to 21-6-2 (10-4 UFC). He has now won six straight fights, including four in a row in the UFC Flyweight Championship.

Kara-France falls to 24-9 (11-5 UFC) with the loss. He had won four straight fights coming into the bout.

Moreno's victory is a major statement in the UFC Flyweight division. He is now the clear-cut No. 1 contender in the division and is in line for a title defense against the winner of the upcoming fight between Askar Askarov and Deiveson Figueiredo.

The fight was a huge success for the UFC, as it drew an estimated 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. It was the most-watched UFC event in Asia since UFC 227 in 2018.

The UFC is now looking to build on the success of UFC 275 and continue to grow its popularity in Asia. The promotion has already announced that it will be returning to Singapore for UFC 281 in October.
