Tom Holland is set to star in a new Apple TV+ series titled The Crowded Room. The series is based on the book The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes, which tells the story of Billy Milligan, the first person to be acquitted of a crime on the grounds of multiple personality disorder. Holland will play Danny Sullivan, a man with 24 different personalities. The Crowded Room is being created by Akiva Goldsman, who is also writing the script. Goldsman is known for his work on films such as A Beautiful Mind, I Am Legend, and The Da Vinci Code. The series will be directed by Susanne Bier, who is known for her work on the Danish television series The Killing. The Crowded Room is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ in 2023.
